Saint Charles River Church

Welcome to Saint Charles River Church!

A message from Pastor Barry

We just want you to know that we’re about something different here at Saint Charles River Church.

We know you want real life, real friends, real family and real honest answers to questions, so do we. We are all on this journey together.  We want you to have a vibrant, community relationship with Christ and his followers, and we want you to become friends and family…and those kinds of things have to be experienced to be believed.

Using the drop down navigation menu at the top of our web page, spend some time exploring our website and listening to our podcast to see if who and what we are is similar to your desire for a local church family. Then give us a call, or swing by sometime and let us welcome you into our family.

In His Service,

Pastor Barry Ivie

Our Vision

Our vision is to promote Jesus Christ, family values, and a sense of community through innovative, non traditional forms of ministry.

Our Purpose (Why we’re here)

We exist to bring Jesus to people and people into relationship within His family, disciple them into Christ-like maturity, and equip them for their ministries in the church, and for the Great Commission in order to bring the name of Christ into our communities.

What makes us Non-Traditional?

Great question! What makes SCRC a non-traditional church is our commitment to flexibility in the way we meet the needs of our community without compromising as culture changes. It is not our music, not the style of service we run, not even the cafe or small groups.  Those items merely reflect our non-traditional vision.

What our vision looks like…

Sunday Mornings: Our Sunday morning services are purposely designed for relevancy to reach those who are currently seeking answers to life’s questions.  We do this by delivering a climate of acceptance and promoting an atmosphere of celebration through contemporary music and a practical life application message of hope.

Wednesday Nights: We offer discipleship classes for the adults, please see our calendar for classes currently being offered. Our Youth meet every other Wednesday night for a time of fun connection while exploring relevant life issues.  God, and the Bible with engaging and interactive discussion.  Additional Youth events will be posted on the calendar.

Celebrate with us this Sunday!
